Rostec says 10 investors interested in Russian Helicopters stake
MOSCOW, Feb 26 (PRIME) -- Around 10 investors are interested in buying a stake in Russian Helicopters, whose privatization may take place already this year, Andrei Korobov, CEO of state-run industrial corporation Rostec’s unit RT-Business Development, told reporters Friday.
Russian Helicopters is part of Rostec.
“Around 10 investors can bid for Russian Helicopters. New expertise and technologies, which an investor can bring and which could bring the asset to a new level, will be the main selection criteria,” Korobov said.
The size of a stake for sale will be defined by Rostec’s supervisory board, he also said.
Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said in January that the government was considering selling a 25% stake in Russian Helicopters to a strategic investor.
